To most people, the music industry represents a source of harmless fun and entertainment. Beneath the glossy veneer, however, lies the devastating truth of who really controls these institutions, and the deeply malevolent agendas for which they're being used.

Mark Devlin is a long-standing DJ and music journalist. ‘Musical Truth’ is the culmination of his five years’ of research into the true nature of the industry and its objectives—from dark occult rituals, to mind-controlled artists, and all points in between. The book shows how these agendas fit into the much wider picture of what’s really going on in the world, and—crucially—how the power lies with us to bring it to an end.

I didn't want to put this book down. I have read quite a bit about the entertainment industry and its ties w/ the occult and with intelligence agencies and mind control -- via Vigilant Citizen website, David McGowan's research, etc. -- and Mark Devlin does a great job here of continuing this avenue of research. This book is insightful, inspiring, clear, funny, and well-written. I want to see more books like this, which make the logical connections and suggest positive approaches we all can take to shift the paradigm away from mind-controlled slave-state to ethical, creative community.

Musical Truth Mark Devlin 9781910757482 Books Reviews

Halfway thru the book, already bought the second one. Excellent read, reference and enlightening.
This book peers deep into the lives and lyrics of many pop, rock and hip-hop artists. Devlin delivers unique insight into aspects of the music industry I didn't know. Anyone interested in the covert ideas, influences and agendas that shape modern music should read this book.
Music, even without words attached to it, can relieve stress or increase it, can make you laugh or make you cry, can make you feel powerful, fearful, tender, aggressive, enlightened and foolish. I have always been amazed by the seemingly magical and undeniable power. of music. It makes perfect sense that unscrupulous types use music to manipulate the masses. Mr. Devlin presents many fascinating examples of these manipulations as well as abundant evidence. This is a very important book that has been a long time coming and, as far as I know, there is no other book available to the public that is quite like it. This is a can't - put - it - down type of book, and I strongly recommend reading it since we now live in a time when sound weapons have and are being developed that can emotionally manipulate, torture and even kill victims. Mr. Devlin is in the process of writing a second volume, which promises to be as important as the first and I can't wait.
Not the first book on the subject but a good one... As a child of the 70s I fell for the music industry tricks... Today its even worse. Also see David McGowan's on Laurel canyon.
Music is a medium enjoyed by nearly all people. Sadly, most people become so entranced that they miss the need to listen CAREFULLY to the messages conveyed therein. Worse than that is the idea that they don't even need to be on guard! But there IS a very real danger. And it isn't exclusive to the rap and heavy metal genres. This book will be useful to those desiring to look deeply into the products being touted by the music industry, as well as the sinister industry itself. An examination of some sickening and frightening music corporation practices is thoroughly carried out in this book. This book is the disclaimer you won't find but should on the packaging of every record, DVD, CD, or music download website!
Very well written and informative. Mr. Devlin gets at the perverted heart of the music industry. Any sane parent would not want their child in the music or entertainment business. What a sad comment on modern society.
What an interesting book Devlin has written! He links the research of a number of insightful writers from Fritz Springmeier to Dave McGowan to John Hamer, as he takes us through his own tour of the dark occult aspects of the music industry.
These Elite Music Murderers seem to be able to link themselves to dark physical energies evoked by manipulating the energies of fear and the frequencies of sound. The Occultists appear to be able to turn these frequencies to their advantage in terms of power and control but to their detriment in terms of any semblance of decency or compassion. They lose any semblance of humanity, because they evoke their power advantage through cruel and murderous rituals. (Or perhaps they never had any "semblance of humanity" to begin with...but have always been an inbred mutant criminal invasive species...but I digress.)

Devlin weaves his own trenchant observations together with the relevant insights of other writers in a fascinating narrative. For example, Devlin cites John Hamer from the latter's book"The Falsification of History"
"In the early eighteenth century there is recorded to have been around 8,500 composers in Europe alone, and yet around 8,400 of them, despite the fact that their music may have been brilliant or innovative, have never had their music extensively published or played, other than in small, localized concert halls. And much of it is today long-forgotten, lost, or deliberately buried.
"Why should this be?
"Mainly because, as today, the music industry had its favorites, and certain personalities, including the likes of Mozart, who, whilst feted as a celebrity of his time, probably did not compose much of the music attributed to him then and since.
"The involvement of the occultists in the creation of the superstars of their day, such as Mozart, Beethoven, and Haydn, cannot be ignored. Indeed, the occult influence in music has always been a factor, and today is absolutely rife throughout the whole of the music industry."

Mark Devlin's book is chock fill of these pithy (and frightening) observations.
