She offers us hope for committed connectedness and relationship to others in a world where being self-involved and self-sufficient is the norm. The layout of the book is perfect: along with each new concept to consider, she offers a plan of action and scripture and quotes from famous folk to underscore her points. At the end, she has a sample pledge that you can use with friends that you would like to be "attached to".
